How do I get started?
Follow the welcome screens to choose how you want to keep your record. Then open Day and tap Add time. Enter your hours and minutes and, if you like, add a note.
How do I correct an entry?
Select its date in Day or Month and open the entry to edit it. Review your changes before saving. Before deleting an entry, make sure you have selected the right one.
How do I set my goals?
In Settings, choose a mode or create your own monthly goal. Custom modes can include an optional yearly goal. Auxiliary modes use their monthly goal without yearly progress.
Do I need an account?
You do not need a Happy Minister account. To sync across devices, you need to be signed in to the same iCloud account on those devices.
How does iCloud work?
Sync is enabled by default on new installations. Records sync through your private iCloud database. An internet connection, available iCloud space and the same Apple Account on your devices are required. Sync can take time and is not instantaneous.
What happens if I turn off iCloud?
You can turn it off in Happy Minister settings. Records already saved on that device stay there and sync pauses. This switch does not delete data already in iCloud. Turning it back on resumes sync.
My devices show different data
Check that both devices use the same Apple Account, iCloud is enabled for Happy Minister, and you have an internet connection and space in iCloud. Open the app on both devices and allow time for syncing. Contact support before deleting the app or iCloud data if the problem continues.
How do I get a monthly report?
In Month, tap Generate report, select a month and complete the report details. Then generate the PDF and use the system share sheet to save it in Files or send it yourself. The app does not automatically send reports to any person or organization.
Can I personalize the app?
Settings lets you change colors and the animal on your progress bar. Accessibility options cover text, typeface, color vision and motion. The app supports VoiceOver.
How can I delete my data?
Delete records, plans and photos from their respective sections. With iCloud enabled, changes sync to your other devices. Disabling iCloud or uninstalling the app does not delete iCloud data. You can also manage cloud storage in your Apple Account settings.
Is the app affiliated with a religious organization?
No. Happy Minister is an independent tool for organizing your preaching time. It does not represent any religious organization or promote a particular belief.
